Legal and privacy
In short: this site uses no cookies and does not track you. There are, however, security cameras in the rooms, and they record sound as well — there is a notice about this at the entrance. Below is exactly what we handle, for how long, and what you can ask of us.

If you ask for a quote
There is no database behind the form. What you type is assembled into a message by your own browser, and you send it — on WhatsApp, by email, or by copying it. Until you send it, nothing reaches us. Once sent, it arrives the same way as if you had written to us directly: we handle the name, the contact details and whatever else you chose to write. We keep it for as long as the enquiry is live, and afterwards for as long as our contract and our accounting obligations require.
If you book with us
We keep records of bookings and payments: name or band name, contact details, the dates of the sessions and the financial entries. This is needed to fulfil the booking and to invoice it. The records live on our own machine, not with an outside provider.
If we send you the newsletter
Once a month we send a newsletter: what has changed in the room, when there is availability. For this we handle your name and email address, and we write only about our own services — we never pass your address on, and we carry no third-party advertising. There are two ways onto the list, and the legal basis differs. If you have been here, we write on the basis of our legitimate interest: there is already a relationship between us, and the services are our own and similar. If you subscribed on the website, it is on the basis of your consent — which you can withdraw at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of what we sent before. Subscribing on the website takes two steps: after you enter your address you receive an email, and you are added to the list only if you confirm there. That way nobody can sign up someone else's address without their knowledge. The newsletter list is held by Brevo, a French email provider, within the European Union. The booking records stay on our own machine, as before. Every letter has a one-click unsubscribe at the bottom, or just write to us — same result, and we will not ask why.
What the public calendar shows
Only that a given slot is taken — no names, no service, no notes. The name of the event never leaves our server: the program that serves this site passes on nothing from the calendar but the start and end times. Our own server fetches the data too, so your browser never contacts Google for it.
Cameras in the rooms
Three security cameras operate in the rooms, recording continuously, BOTH PICTURE AND SOUND. They cover the entrance to the band room, the band room itself, and most of the studio room. There is a notice about this at the entrance. The purpose is to protect the rooms and the instruments and equipment kept in them. Entry is by code and self-service, and for most of the time nobody is there — there would otherwise be no way to establish afterwards that something has gone missing or been damaged. Sound is recorded because the typical incident here is not a break-in, but something a picture alone does not settle. Recordings are overwritten automatically after about six months. We look at them only if a specific loss or dispute arises. The legal basis is our legitimate interest; the balancing assessment behind it is written down, and we will tell you what it says if you ask.
If you ask us to remember your details
In the enquiry form you can tick a box to keep your name, band, phone number and email — so you do not have to type them again next time. They then stay IN YOUR OWN BROWSER, on that one device: not in a cookie, and never sent to us. We cannot see them and cannot delete them — but you can, at any time, with one click in the same place. Until you tick the box, nothing is stored. The message text and your consent are never included.
If you add the site to your home screen
The site can be installed: it gets its own icon and opens without the browser bar. For this your browser downloads a small helper file onto your device. That file stores nothing and tracks nothing — it exists only so the browser can offer the install. There is no app store behind it, no account, and we ask for no permissions.
Cookies and third parties
This site sets no cookies, measures no traffic, and runs no tracking code of any kind. The fonts are served from our own server, not from Google. The availability calendar is fetched by our server too. One thing loads from outside: the embedded map — and only if you click it. Until you click, Google does not know you are here.
What you can ask of us
You can ask what data we hold about you; ask us to correct it if it is wrong; ask us to erase it once it is no longer needed; and object to our handling it on the basis of legitimate interest. Write to any of our contacts — no formal wording is needed, a message is enough. If you believe we have not handled this properly, you can complain to the Hungarian data protection authority (NAIH, naih.hu) or go to court.

We have your request
Levente will look at it and confirm by email. The booking becomes final at that point — until then it does not appear in the calendar.

You can cancel up to 48 hours before the booking. Inside that window the full fee applies.
